Parents of the Bride
They made me independent, resourceful, and hardworking. I owe them more than I could ever express in words. Also, thanks for the good genes!
Parents of the Groom
The most amazing, supportive, and loving parents. I owe everything to them. Love you so much!
Bridesmaid
Ate (older sister) of the bride. As the trailblazer, she showed me that it was okay to discover new places and move somewhere on your own. She is my example of a thoughtful and reflective person.
Groomsman
We met at a medical school interview where we both fell asleep during a neuroanatomy lecture- not surprisingly neither of us were accepted to that school. Everything worked out in the end, as we ended up as roommates for all four years of medical school at Vanderbilt. Watch out for his dance moves.
Bridesmaid
Younger sister of the bride and fellow Commodore! Caitlyn and I shared a bedroom for most of our lives and then we both lived in Nashville for four years. While there, we ate an indescribable amount of Edley's BBQ sauce (be sure to check it out while you're in Nashville!). She's my fashion consultant and favorite pillow talk partner.
Groomsman
Roommates for the first year of medical school at Vanderbilt as part of the original Continental crew (best not to ask about that apartment...). Lucky for him, Libby came to the rescue after the first year and whisked him off to more functional living spaces. Best memory: hiking around Arizona/Utah for two weeks before the start of residency. Ask him about Madagascar.
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the bride since childhood. We were in the same ballet class around kindergarten and became actual best friends in 5th grade after founding the Purple Pencil Club. My introverted personality twin and go to for all culinary, literary, and life advice.
Groomsman
Little brother of the bride and the coolest Ko kid. He's actually the nicest and best human you will meet. Anthony deserves all the props for growing up with three sisters, but now he knows all the words to every Backstreet Boys song so I think we could all agree that it is worth it.
Bridesmaid
Fellow band nerd and best friend for life. Emily is a loyal and true friend; she once drove 20 some hours to visit me in Nashville for my birthday. Elite runner and hiker, Emily is my go to for motivation to explore this beautiful world.
Groomsman
Best friend of the bride and fellow Commodore. Matt and Christine became friends during their first day of orientation at Vanderbilt. Since then, they have traveled throughout the southeast, Chicago, and Europe. He's been there for Christine and Tommy's entire relationship and we love him so much that we followed him to Boston!
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the bride and source of all positivity in the world. Despite being a cat AND horse lady, Garett is surprisingly normal and the most outgoing person I know. She is the friend that everybody wants: an amazing listener, down for any and all adventures, and immensely kind.
Groomsman
One of my radiology co-residents and happens to be the only person I know that is banned from Venmo (it's a long story that doesn't make any sense). His apartment in Boston has the best rooftop grill- which might be the only reason I keep him around.
Bridesmaid
After Tommy first met Tiffany at a MGH Gen. Surgery Intern Year BBQ, Tiffany and I have become great friends. In addition to being neighbors in 2017, Tiffany makes me laugh and is always down to get mani/pedis for some quality girl-talk time. When we had to Covid-adapt our wedding, Tiffany planned for me to have a beautiful bouquet and celebration picnic afterwards. I feel really lucky to have her stand with me in 2021.
Groomsman
Tommy's co-resident and favorite black cloud. Has never skipped a workout and loves his ice machine maker. This will be his first time in NashVegas!
