Walk up and down the strip and pop into restaurants, shops, and iconic music venues. There are a few cool boutique hotels like Hotel Saint Cecilia, Magdalena, and Hotel San Jose. Be sure to stop in at Allen's Boots, grab a coffee at Jo's, and get a pic of the capital!
Great views of Lake Austin, Austin Country Club and a view of the skyline. Also, where we got engaged!
360-acre oasis in the heart of the city that’s home to the Zilker Botanical Garden and leafy trails that lead to outdoor artworks at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum.
a Mediterranean-style villa with an outdoor sculpture park on Lake Austin. Advance tickets required.
Our favorite pizza spot. It's the best Detroit style pizza you will have... yes better than anything in Detroit.
Classic Austin staple. Make Kevin proud and order 2 Mexican martinis. Make sure to uber home!
The Spicy Marg is an acquired taste. Kevin loves it, Teenz does not. The Pesto Udon is something we both agree is delicious!
If you aren't a breakfast person, you'll become one after eating here.
It's a small place so try to get a reservation if you plan on going here!
Pizza and Beer as solid as it comes. Electric Jellyfish is a popular beer in Austin and Pinthouse is the brewer.
It's worth the wait, but try to go on an off-hour (not dinner or lunch).
A vintage-chic restaurant/speakeasy with a well curated menu of elevated comfort food. We recommend the biscuit appetizer!
Good seafood and a good outdoor environment on South Congress. Be careful if they seat you at the bench tables and you decide to do a group picture with everyone on one side.... beer pitchers will be spilled.
Delicious mediterranean food. Heavily recommend a reservation if you plan to go here. This is the first restaurant that has ever turned us away from even putting our name on the waiting list. Good for them.
Cocktail bar - speakeasy vibe.
