This is a favorite for adults and kids! The famous Winter the Dolphin used to live here until she passed away. But all her friends still live here and it's a wonderful experience. (Pictured: Stubbe family + Andrew enjoying the dolphins)
Honeymoon Island and the causeway leading out to it has beaches for swimming and relaxing. There is an $8 fee to go all the way to the end into Honeymoon Island State Park, but it's worth it. There are hiking trails through the maritime forest and pretty beaches with fewer people than the causeway.
This is our favorite Greek restaurant right in the heart of downtown Tarpon Springs, a Greek community. The famous sponge docks are here and it's a cute town to walk around and find trinkets. Andrew recommends getting a shot of Ouzo (a licorice-flavored liquor) and yelling "Opa", like they did in the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".
Christine's favorite coffee shop in walkable downtown Dunedin.
We love riding bikes along the Pinellas Trail! If you ride just North of Dunedin, take a right towards Hammock Park and ride the sandy trails through the Spanish Moss. You can park your bike in downtown Dunedin and stop for food or drinks. The trail is 45 miles long, so there are multiple places to get on/off the trail.
