Christina and Tyler initially met through mutual friends at a wedding shower. Though they only shared a formal introduction and exchanged a hello, they each walked away with lasting impressions of each other. After a few days of "subtle" inquiries with their mutual friends, Tyler worked up the courage to send Christina a strategically written message on Instagram involving the dancing man emoji. Through several messages back and forth, a first date was planned. Tyler took Christina to his favorite restaurant, Taqueria Chalupas, where the restaurant owner happened to be celebrating his birthday. They stayed three hours past the restaurant's closing and talked like they had known each other their whole lives. After a long night of good conversation, margaritas and a mariachi band, Christina and Tyler had all but confirmed that they had found the person that they wanted to share the rest of their lives with. Of course several more dates followed after the first, one in which Christina surprised Tyler with a trip to Dave and Busters. Christina celebrated one win at a basketball arcade game. One win, to which Tyler answered by mercilessly beating Christina at every single game to follow. From rodeos and dates at Taqueria Chalupas, to weekends at the land and dinners cooked at home with their fur babies, the two have since remained inseparable and are now overjoyed to be months away from exchanging "I dos" and starting a life together.
