Also, check the weather at Elk Lake before coming! It'll likely be cold in the evenings and layers will be your friend.

We'll be grilling hotdogs (and veg options) and picnic-ing at Elk Lake RESORT campsite 2 (not to be confused with Elk Lake Campground) from 4:30-7:30 pm. This will be super informal. Stop by and say "hi”, sit on the ground, eat a dog. Bring a camp chair if you have one!

There will be watercrafts/boatercycles/floaties available to use/rent on the lake and there are lots of hiking trails nearby. (Check out the "Things to do" section for hike recommendations.) The lodge has a restaurant if you're feeling peckish.
