William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), located in Houston, TX, is about 45 minutes to an hour from Galveston, TX. We HIGHLY recommend flying in the day prior (02/13/24) so any flight delays will not cause you to miss the cruise!! The wedding party will be traveling with Southwest Airlines. **UPDATE: There was a recent flight change made by Southwest that did not work for us. We called Southwest to change our flights (no additional cost). Here is our updated flight information: -Departing Sacramento on Thursday, 02/13/25, at 9:10 am with an arrival in Houston (HOU) at 4:20 pm (Flights #1719 and #3310). This flight has one stop in Ontario (50 min layover). -Returning Friday, 02/21/25, at 4:25 pm with an arrival in Sacramento at 9:20 pm (Flights #1286 and #4485). This flight has one stop in Austin, TX (2 hour layover - we'll likely do dinner at the airport!) Please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible!

Shuttle Bus from Hobby Airport (HOU) to La Quinta Inn & Suites Galveston North

We have rented a bus with Galveston Limousine to transport our group from Hobby Airport (HOU) to La Quinta Inn & Suites in Galveston where we will be staying for the night. The bus will pick us up at 5:30 pm at HOU in Curb Zone 4 (downstairs). The cost will be $30 per person for this one-way trip. Please pay Christina before or on the day of (cash, Zelle, or Venmo). La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45
The wedding party will be staying at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45 on Thursday, February 13, 2025 (the night before the cruise embarkation). The address is 1002 63rd St, Galveston, TX 77551. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. We will be heading directly to the cruise port after checking out of the hotel. All guests are welcome to book their stay here and join us, but there is no obligation. There are a lot of hotel and AirBNB options in the area. **Please pay close attention to the hotel name and address when making your reservations, as there are multiple La Quinta hotels in Galveston.**

Please Note: Transportation from the hotel to the cruise port will be the responsibility of each guest. The cruise port is approximately 3.5 miles away from La Quinta Inn & Suites. Recommendations: La Quinta offers a shuttle service for a small fee (please contact to inquire). Another option is to Uber.

Cruise Information - Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)
Our wedding will be taking place during a 7-day cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Norwegian Prima cruise ship. The cruise dates are from Friday, February 14, 2025 to Friday, February 21, 2025. Please see the above Schedule tab for our itinerary and the link below for additional information regarding this cruise. The price of the cruise will vary depending on the number of persons per stateroom, type of stateroom selected, and when the reservation is made (rates could go up). In order to take advantage of our group rates, please contact the NCL Groups Department at (855) 625-4768. PLEASE TEXT JONATHAN OR CHRISTINA FOR THE GROUP NUMBER PRIOR TO CONTACTING NCL. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Christina. Booking as part of our group offers a discounted cruise fare AND a $200 onboard credit per stateroom (cabin). If you book an interior cabin, you will also receive 300 minutes of Wifi OR a $50 shore excursion credit for one person per port. For Oceanview cabins and up, you will also receive a $50 shore excursion credit for one person per port, 300 minutes of Wifi, AND a complimentary 10 photos package. For specific details, please speak with NCL. Only a deposit is required to reserve your cabin. Final payments for the cruise are due by October 17, 2024. The deposit and any payments are 100% refundable before October 17, 2024.

Shuttle Bus from Port of Galveston to Hobby Airport (HOU)

We have rented a bus with Galveston Limousine to transport our group from the cruise port to Hobby Airport (HOU). The bus will pick us up at 10:30 am. (Per the cruise itinerary, we will be arriving in Galveston at 8 am and disembarkation usually begins approximately 2 hours after docking). The cost will be $35 per person for this one-way trip. Unfortunately, it is slighter higher than the previous trip due to port fees. Please pay Christina before or on the day of (cash, Zelle, or Venmo). Thank you!
