Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens
About 20 minutes from downtown, tickets are $28, they have an hour long wagon ride that takes you through all the crops they grow. They have a butterfly arboretum, horse stalls, etc.
Middleton Place
Former rice plantation along the river, probably the most beautiful plantation but a farther drive from downtown, about 30 mins. Give beautiful garden tours

$15 tickets, one of my favorite historic home hours in Charleston
White Point Garden
A beautiful park at the bottom of the downtown peninsula
