Prospect House has ample outdoor/fresh air spaces that we'll be taking advantage of. The ceremony space and biergarten are both outside, and there is a "breezeway" space that is covered and screened in, allowing fresh air to flow through. We will open doors to the dining room to encourage as much fresh air as possible. We will also be providing masks and encourage anyone to wear one if it makes them feel more comfortable. Finally, we are asking that only guests who are fully vaccinated attend in person. If you are not fully vaccinated or will not be fully vaccinated by the wedding day, we ask that you join us online. (See below.)
Wedding planning is always hard, but adding a global pandemic on top has been a whole other level of stress. Asking that only guests who have been vaccinated attend in person was what we felt would bring us the most peace of mind of keeping everyone well on our big day. We have some of the most important people in our lives attending this day, many who are considered vulnerable for one reason or another, and knowing that only vaccinated guests are attending (therefore reducing the chance of COVID, and especially serious COVID) helps us keep them as safe as possible. If you have not yet been vaccinated, and don't plan to have both doses by our wedding day, we please ask that you do not attend in person. (If you are someone who is either not eligible or who cannot receive the vaccine due to a medical condition, you are still welcome to attend in person.) Please send Kat a message if you would like to discuss this further - she's happy to chat about it!
We will be providing an online option to attend! Please fill out the RSVP accordingly and we'll provide you the link to join us virtually on our big day.
At this time, masks will not be required, since we will be taking advantage of open air spaces and requiring only vaccinated guests attend. However, we will provide masks for those who would like to wear them. We fully support if you would like to wear a mask!
If you were given a plus one, your invitation (and RSVP) will explicitly state it. We know this may be disappointing for some. Thank you for your understanding as we try to keep our numbers as low as possible for our in-person event!
