Trae and I met in middle school, 8th grade to be exact. Trae had this long shoulder length hair that was one solid shade of brown. (if anyone knew Trae during this stage you remember the hair) It was shoulder length and he always had someone complimenting it if not braiding it. He was often described as Fabio. This was the year the Miss Me Jeans and Ugg boots were in style so that was often my outfit on display. In 8th grade I always wore my hair in a left side low pony tail and all of the hair was in one long curl. We got to know each other during this year, we both liked each but it was not until two years later during out sophomore year that we started dating. Two very different high schoolers, one that was always worried about following the rules and another who bent the rules just far enough to have a good time. When we first started dating, I remember sitting in Triton High School's cafeteria and my friends kept saying, "I never would have thought you and Trae would ever be together." We had two completely different groups of friends, though the school was smaller so they often overlapped in a sense. I remember Trae telling me that same day that his friends repeated the same line to him "I would have never thought". Yet, here were are 7 years later. & years of maturing, growing, learning, and loving. Throughout these seven years we have been through the most extraordinary experiences together, welcoming my three siblings into our lives, high school, dance competitions, Friday nights at cookout, truck meets, college, trips, careers, dogs, a home together, and so much love. Trae and I can not be more sure than we are today that we are whole heartedly meant to spend forever together! We can not wait to see you on our wedding sharing our new anniversary together and starting over from 7 years of dating to forever married!
