Pellston (PLN) is the closest airport to Bay Harbor, offering daily flights from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and easily accessible rental car and shuttle options. PLN is approximately 24 miles from Bay Harbor. Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) offers several non-stop and one-stop flights to most major airports through American, Delta, and United. Rental car options are available for the scenic drive from Traverse City to the Petoskey area. TVC is approximately 63 miles from Bay Harbor.

Getting to Bay Harbor by Car

Detroit, MI (270 miles) Take I-75 North to Exit 282 in Gaylord for M-32 West. Take M-32 West for about 10 miles until you reach US-131. Turn right to go North on US-131, and drive US-131 North until you reach US-31 in Petoskey. Take a left onto US-31 South. Make a right at the light onto Bay Harbor Road, and then a right onto Village Harbor Drive. The Inn will be in view on the left. Pellston Airport (24 miles) Make the short drive down US-31 South through Petoskey, and toward Traverse City. US-31 will lead you directly to Bay Harbor through a scenic drive around Little Traverse Bay. Cherry Capital Airport (63 miles) From South Airport Rd, make a left onto Three Mile Rd, and take Three Mile Rd north. Make a right onto US-31 North. Take US-31 North, through Charlevoix and continue toward Petoskey. Make a left at the light onto Bay Harbor Road, and then a right onto Village Harbor Drive. The Inn will be in view on the left.
