Gift Registry
At this time, we are saving for a dream home, so will wait to select furnishings once we can visualize the physical space (and have actual storage space). We are not expecting any gifts, as your support for our union is more than enough.
However, should you insist, in lieu of a traditional registry, we will gratefully accept the practical and versatile tradition of Chinese gift giving through a red envelope, so we can purchase something to honor you in our future home. Red envelopes (or "hongbao" in Mandarin) contain thoughtful monetary gifts as a wish for hope for prosperity and good fortune for recipients--children, family members, and friends.
