Chrisanna and I met at sunset in an empty secluded parking lot at Red Butte Gardens. I had planned a romantic walk through the early Spring blooms, but neglected to check their hours: they were closed. We stepped out of our cars and she said, "I sure hope you're not a serial killer." And that's when I knew she was the one. Later that night, as we were saying goodbye, we shared our first kiss, again in a secluded and abandoned parking lot.

We arrived on the 22nd of November to a cold and soggy Paris. The weather was terrible, but it didn’t matter: there was so much love between us, it radiated off like heat. On our 2nd day, we walked down the Champ de Mars to the Eiffel Tower under a blanket of fog huddled together sharing a crepe. It was the most content I’ve ever felt. By the time we reached the gardens adjacent to the tower, the sun had burned off the morning fog turning the day to beautiful crisp winter afternoon. It was the perfect moment. On one knee, I asked Chrisanna to marry me. And she said yes.
