When is the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to have a very small ceremony with only a handful of family members on August 1st. We will tell you all about it when we see you on August 2nd!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is semi-casual to casual. Although the traditional lawn bowling outfit is all white, we ask that you refrain from this option for this occasion. If you plan on lawn bowling (we hope that you do!) you must have flat shoes with no heel at all (Birkenstocks, vans, converse would all be appropriate). You can also bowl barefoot!

Are kids welcome?

Yes, they are! They can take part in the games, and this spot is conveniently located near a playground and splash park!

Do I need to be there at 4pm?

Answer

Nope! Stop by when you can for as long as you want! We will have Pizza for dinner at 6pm followed by cake.

Is There Parking?

Answer

There is public parking near the venue entrance and plenty of street parking in the neighbourhood. However, be sure to an alternative method of getting home if you intend to drink.

What if it rains?

Answer

We will wait 5 minutes for it to stop since we are in Calgary. But if that fails, the party will go on and we will shift inside!

What if it's really hot?

Answer

There is potential for this party weekend to be quite hot! Take this into consideration in what you choose to wear (light or breathable clothing). The venue is largely outdoors, though there will be shaded areas and an indoor area to get away from the sun. We will have bug spray and sunscreen, water (bring your own bottles please!) and the Rotary Park Splash Pad is right next door if things become dire!

You being able to attend is the best gift. There is no expectation or obligation to bring gifts (we are unable to remove the registry tab from this website).

Is there a bar?

Answer

We'll be using an honor system toonie bar. We have stocked up on pop, mocktails, canned cocktails, beer and wine for this party! We will have everything readily available for guests to serve themselves.

I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer
