Their love story began when they met at a friend's house in high school. It was just a random night that they didn't think too much of. The two of them immediately hit it off and didn't stop talking all night. The night ended with the two of them gazing at the stars and exchanging phone numbers. After both of them went home, Chris decided to friend request Tori on Facebook and message her. From the first message on April 18th, 2011, the two haven't skipped a day talking to one another. Continuing to build their trust with one another, Chris asked Tori out on a walk to Taco Bell and from there, the rest is history.

After only dating two years, Tori asked for a puppy for Christmas and to no surprise, Chris went out and bought her the most perfect addition to their family, Cooper. Chris went off to college at Monmouth University where he had the best time. Through frequent visits, Tori knew that was also her home away from home and decided to go there as well. Making the best memories and building their bond throughout high school and college is when they knew they wanted to spend forever together. Chris graduated and got a full-time job right away while Tori stayed at Monmouth and had to finish up her degree before the big question could be asked. As Tori's graduation approached, the country went into the pandemic, which is when they decided to start living at both of their parents' houses, while they searched for a home of their own. During this time, they both realized they truly couldn't live without one another and Chris went ring shopping and decided to make it a plan!

After dating for almost 10 years, Chris knew it was time to *finally* pop the question. Chris took Tori down the shore to her favorite and happy place and had her convinced she was going on a "dinner cruise" for the night. To her surprise, there was no dinner and Chris got down on one knee on a yacht in the middle of the Manasquan River. After the ride ended, Chris still had many surprises up his sleeve. He had both of their families and best friends waiting for them at a restaurant to celebrate their love. Chris had not only planned the best night proposing to Tori, but planned the most perfect weekend surrounded by friends and family celebrating their love. They will never forget that night, making it the best night of both of their lives and the start of their forever together.
