We went here on our second date. Needless to say, the date went well and the food was amazing. Order the souffle.
One of the best spots in town for a creative brunch, lunch, or diner.
The best New York-style slice in the city and our favorite. Or, as Chris says, the only "real" pizza there is here.
We went here for Mothers Day 2022, and it made a wonderful lasting impression!
Best acai bowls in town! Sarah is addicted to them.
We stop by here whenever we're down by the Wharf. The best contemporary Mexican food we've found in the city!
Great brunch/lunch spot. There's a sister location right by St. Joseph's on Capitol Hill, and is often frequented by Chris and Sarah after mass.
Sarah's favorite lunch spot at work. If you're sightseeing near the White House and find yourself hungry, stop here!
Margaritas as big as your head. What else is there to say really.
Sarah's favorite after work drinking hole. It's like having a cocktail in Harry Potter's common room.
After our lovely dinner on our second date, we came here for some after dinner drinks and....karaoke. It's also where Sarah met Chris' karaoke alter ego, Robin Thin, for the first time. A great dive bar in DC.
Sarah's volunteered here for several years! And it's just undergone a renovation if you'd like to see some incredible works of art by some incredible women.
Sarah's also volunteered here! Who knew DC recently added another memorial to the National Mall. Worth checking out, especially if you haven't been the National Mall in a while.
A small, exquisite art museum. Sarah has volunteered as a docent here in the past.
If you have the time and can venture a little bit outside DC, this is a must see. Chris and Sarah had a very memorable wine tasting here last spring as well.
One of the best family friendly museums in town, and there isn't a more fitting museum to see in all the capital. After all, 1 out of every 10 people who live in Washington, DC is a spy.
If you want to do some "real" shopping, Tysons has it all.
For street shops and browsing high-end boutiques, there isn't a more lovely place to do it than M street in Georgetown.
We went here on our first date. From restaurants to local shops to stunning water views, if you want to get out and stretch your legs, this is a great place to do it.
