Best Man
Andrew is Chris's little brother and will be serving as best man at the wedding. There is rarely a day that goes by that Chris and Andrew don't argue about movies, sports, or the weather but it is how they show they love each other. Chris set the bar very high when he served as Andrew's best man. Wedding guests will have high expectations for Andrew's speech.
Groomsman
Stephen Milmoe will be represented by Uncle Larry. Stephen is Chris's older brother who passed away in 1994. He would have been standing up with Chris if he were still with us. In Stephen's place will be Uncle Larry, Chris's Uncle and brother of Alexandra Milmoe. Uncle Larry has created his own successful tire business in upstate New York and has taken Chris on some of the best adventures in his life including running with the bulls in Spain and Formula 1 in Montreal.
Groomsman
Kevin Rice is the most fantastic, creative, funny, and caring person known to mankind. Chris met him in 2001 and quickly recognized him as the salt of the earth and greatly enjoyed each others company. They traveled together in London with Elyne Kahn and Jarrett Krosoczka. Kevin is also a founder of the Best Dinner of the Year which takes place annually at the Stockyard Steakhouse in Boston. Chris and Nicole served as groomsman and bridesmaid in Kevin's wedding to Toni Dominguez.
Groomsman
Jarrett took Chris under his wing in 2001 at Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Jarrett's best piece of advice for Chris was "Things will take care of themselves and if not I'll take care of them." Jarrett was also the occupant of 50 King, a site where many early shenanigans took place in their lives. Jarrett took Chris's persona to the page by making him a character in the lunch lady graphic novel series.
Groomsman
Brian Mckenna is most famous for mainstreaming Fun Day at Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. He has been Chris's emergency contact since 2005. While the two worked at camp together, they dominated the dining hall, professionalized capture the flag, and gave several nurses high blood pressure. Brian was immortalized in the Lunch Lady books as Chris's sidekick

Mike and Chris began their prep school careers in 2004 at Choate Rosemary Hall. They became fast friends when Mike took advantage of the fact that Chris owned a minivan and they needed to pick up a big piece of wood for a beer pong table. The friendship grew deeper as they continued to support each other through the ups and downs of life with Chris serving as Mike's best man at his wedding and Godfather to his beautiful daughter Ellie.
Matron of Honor
Brooke and Nicole first bonded during the summer of 2005 through a chain link fence. Before you start running their background checks, it was a chain link fence surrounding a pool at The Painted Turtle Camp in California, where they worked for two summers together filled with choreographed dances, songs, games, and many costumes. Brooke and Nicole became so close that they moved to Boston together with some other wonderful friends in Fall 2006 and lived together for many years that continued to be filled with…choreographed dances, songs, games, and costumes, but luckily, no more chain link fences. Brooke now lives in Denver with her husband and her beautiful son Jack, and Nicole misses living close to her every single day.
Matron of Honor
Cori and Nicole met in Boston in 2008 through Cori’s husband: Adam shortly after they started dating, and after a night where they laughed so hard their abs hurt and someone may or may not have peed their pants, they realized that they must be fraternal twins separated at birth and the rest was history. The Leech family have been Nicole’s home away from home for many years now (even when they try and move again and again, Nicole always seems to find them). Nicole is extra lucky to be “Auntie” to Maya and Max Leech. Max has approved of Nicole marrying Chris.
Bridesmaid
Annie and Nicole met in 2013 working as inpatient surgical social workers together at Boston Children’s Hospital. Call it trauma-bonding or call it destiny, but Annie and Nicole became partners in crime at work tackling all sorts of departmental projects together, and working through the height of COVID together. This quickly translated to impromptu dinners outside of work when getting stuck working late to vacations to: Seattle, Canada, Aruba, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Austin, Maine, NYC, New Hampshire, Vermont, Colorado, Mexico, Nevada and California…to name a few. Annie was also Chris’ inside spy when it came to designing the engagement ring, and this was extra impressive as Annie does not like keeping secrets from Nicole, but she helped Chris nail it – and Nicole was VERY surprised.
Bridesman
Travis and Nicole met in freshman orientation at American University of Paris in September 2001. Travis had leaned over and asked Nicole a question, which Nicole heard as “can I have a piece of gum?” Nicole upended her purse that was filled with all sorts of treasures to find Travis a piece of gum, and once located, Travis looked at Nicole like she was a crazy person and said “umm…I asked for a pen”. Nicole and Travis’s friendship blossomed while living a Parisian dream together, and realizing how much they made each other laugh and from then on became known as the “Trav and Nico Show”. As Travis has continued to travel the world since their Paris days, Nicole has continued to master playing the game of “Where in the World is Travis Sandiego?”, but every time their paths cross or they talk on the phone, the “Trav and Nico Show” picks up again without missing a beat.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa and Nicole met in 2008 working, when Nicole was a Hospital Outreach Specialist for Hole in the Wall, and Alyssa was a Child Life Specialist at Boston Medical Center. Alyssa and Nicole became fast friends beyond the hospital walls due to their shared love of cheese, sarcasm, Kurt Russell, Boston sports, and Wally (IYKYK). Alyssa moved to New Hampshire to be with her husband: James, and to raise their two kids: Finley and Weston, and bring her Boston sass and excellent fashion sense to woods, but there are few people in this world that make Nicole laugh as hard as Alyssa does even from afar.
Bridesmaid
Meg and Nicole met in May 2009 after both being accepted into Simmons School of Social Work Masters program for fall 2009 – but being told that our college math skills were not up to snuff and needing to attend a pre-req statistics course of all things. Somehow, they both got As (a once in a lifetime occurrence for Nicole when it comes to math…), and proceeded to spend the next three years taking every grad school class together. Nicole and Meg have continued to work at Boston Children’s Hospital together for the last 10+ years, which firmly cemented their status as “Social Work Life Partners”, and through travel and countless Boston adventures, a lifelong friendship was born – and they have never used their statistics knowledge again!
