Cleveland is the closest airport to Catawba Island, and is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes drive from the airport.
Travel Note
There are a lot of great condos/homes for rental on Catawba, Marblehead, or Port Clinton as well. Because June is the start of the busy season in this area we’d recommend locking one of those down ASAP!

Once on the island there are two ferries that can be taken to the other Lake Erie Islands, the Jet Express and the Miller Ferry. The Miller is more affordable, but the Jet is faster. -The Jet also goes directly to Cedar Point, which is a fun way to avoid Route 2 traffic. -The Miller Ferry has two docks, one on Catawba and one on Marblehead. -Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket window at the dock. https://www.jet-express.com/ https://millerferry.com/
