Picking your airport!

Getting to San Miguel de Allende can be a little tricky. There are 3 different airport options ranked by proximity to San Miguel de Allende: 1. Queratero Airport (QRO) - 1 hour 25 min drive **our recommendation** 2. Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) - 1 hr 40 min drive 3. Mexico City International Airport (MEX) - 3 hr 30 min Guests may also want to consider extending their travel plans to visit other beautiful places of Mexico. Flights between other cities in Mexico are very affordable and might offer great extensions of your trip! However, our heart belongs to San Miguel and wish you take full advantage of this charming city.

Shuttle Services

We recommend booking a private shuttle into San Miguel de Allende, as this is the safest option as opposed to renting a vehicle. Parking is very limited in the city and best explored on foot! Shuttles average $25 per person from QRO airport! The shuttle service linked above picks you up directly at airport with a sign and drops you at the door front of you hotel! We are happy to assist you in booking shuttles with other guests, so please do not hesitate to reach out.
