Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony will be in the garden at the Aviary, weather permitting. The reception and cocktail hour will be held in the Garden Room just steps away!

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue?
Answer
A shuttle be will be provided from the Residence Inn to the National Aviary and back at the end of the night. See the travel tab for shuttle times.

Does the party stop after the wedding is over?
Answer
You're welcome to join the bride and groom at Shorty's Pins x Pints on the North Shore after the reception. We're putting the moon to bed and waking up the sun in the morning.

Is there a dress code?

We are asking our guests to dress up with us in Cocktail attire.

Will there be birds?

Maybe.... just keep your head down during cocktail hour.

Is there parking at the Aviary? Can I park overnight?
Answer
Yes, free parking is available. Guests are welcome too park overnight at the Aviary. Just pick your vehicle up before 12pm the next day (Saturday).

Is there a hotel block reserved where I can stay?
Answer
A hotel block is reserved at the Residence Inn and Springhill Suites on the North Shore. Please see the travel tab for booking details.
