How should we get to & from the ceremony?

Answer

If Chicago-local or staying at the hotel, we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or Curb apps to get to and from the ceremony! If opting to drive, please see map above for parking at Loyola, and please see our "Hotel" section for more information on parking near the reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

~Formal/Black Tie Optional~ Men are encouraged but not required to wear a tuxedo. A dark colored suit is also acceptable! (or your finest kilt, Uncle Chris) Bow ties also encouraged! For the ladies, evening gowns, or dressier knee to midi length cocktail dresses are appropriate! Above all, we encourage you to wear whatever feels festive, glamorous, and fun! Think fall colors and jewel tones, but all colors are welcome, except white of course!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to find your way to the church and find a seat.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October 26, 2023 in Chicago was a gorgeous, sunny day in the mid-70s. October 28, 2023 it snowed. All wedding events will take place indoors, but please keep an eye on the weather forecast, and plan to bring layers and options for the weekend!
