Question

When do I need to be in Boston by?

Answer

As long as you can be at Foster’s Pavilion by 3:45pm Saturday 8/31/24 you can come into Boston Saturday afternoon! Account for holiday traffic since it will be Labor Day weekend. Otherwise the Bride and Groom are welcoming guests to unwind the night before and join them for cocktails Friday night!

Question

How will I get to the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

The Bride and Groom are providing shuttles from the ceremony to the reception. Shuttle will pick up guests at the Seaport Hotel Boston at 3:30. You do not need to stay at the hotel to use the shuttle! The shuttle will also bring guests from the ceremony to the yacht. Afterwards the boat will dock across from the Seaport Hotel and you can walk to the hotel or the after party next door!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Think classy boat dinner. Not quite black tie but if you got it, flaunt it. Cocktail attire is also acceptable. The Bride has accounted for the proper footwear for the reception and will provide sandals for her dancing ladies.

Question

Will I get boat sick?

Answer

If Emily doesn’t get boat sick, no one should. Nurse Bride has tricks up her sleeve, if any passenger shall feel under the weather, seek out the girl in the white. The boat typically doesn’t leave the harbor and experiences little motion. No one typically gets sick on these types of dinner boats.

Question

If I’m not staying at The Seaport Hotel can I still take the shuttle provided to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, shuttle leaves at 3:30

Question

If I’m driving to Boston Harbor Hotel for the ceremony, where will I park?

Answer

The Boston Harbor Hotel has a garage, after the ceremony you can then park your car at the Seaport Hotel garage which is next to where the boat docks.

For all the days along the way
