Things To Do

The North Shore of Long Island is a collection of small towns, protected harbors, and beautiful places. Enjoy!

Cold Spring Harbor Village

Cold Spring Harbor, NY

Our little town! Like, really little. Like, 1/4mi end to end! We love hot chocolate and coffee on the back porch of Sweetie Pies, fish tacos and carrot cake at Gourmet Whaler. Cute shops and a great wine store. Don't miss the firehouse museum! (It's really tiny, you might actually miss it!)

Huntington Village

Huntington, NY

A walk-able town with lots of shops, eateries and nightlife. Check out gourmet burgers and craft beers at Vauxhall, homemade ice cream at Herrell's or Kilwins, or our favorite luncheonette, Mundays!

Caumsett State Park

25 Lloyd Harbor Road, Lloyd Harbor, NY 11743
, (631) 423-1770

We love taking long or short walks at this beautiful state park. If you've got time, try to make it all the way to the Sound for a great view!

Planting Fields Arboretum

1395 Planting Fields Road, Oyster Bay, NY 11771
, (516) 922-9210

Beautiful grounds, greenhouses, mansion, trails and short paved walks. Spring is in bloom!

Cold Spring Harbor State Park

95 Harbor Road, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724
, (631) 423-1770

Check out the view of the inner harbor at Billy Joel's park, or hike the steep trails behind the world's prettiest library!

Sagamore Hill National Historic Site

20 Sagamore Hill Road, Oyster Bay, NY 11771
, (516) 922-4788

Check out Teddy Roosevelt's summer white house! Admittedly, we've never been inside, but if you're a history buff, this is the place for you. We DO love walking the nature trail that leads down to a scenic beach overlooking Cold Spring Harbor.

For all the days along the way
