We first met in September of 2019 at BIOLA University. This wasn't when we became close. It wasn't until he and I were sent home because of COVID when we started talking. It was light and fun and we made each other smile a lot. Looking back, I considered him one of my closest guy friends. Our love story seemed anything but random (even though we didn't know it was a love story quite yet). Over the course of 3 and a half years, he and I stayed in contact off and on. Occasionally we would run into each other and catch up but then would go our separate ways after. The idea of dating seemed possible throughout our time knowing each other but it was never the right time because of pandemics, past relationships, and everything in between. December 2022 was the year he asked me out. I declined only because I was very caught off guard! We stayed in contact and talked non stop from November on. He sure knew how to make me smile. During this time of getting to know each other a spark was forming. My mom could tell you that too. She is actually the reason I finally said yes. Ginger Hartman watched as I smiled at my phone and finally asked why I said no and I didnt have an answer. All I knew was that I loved talking to him. Ryan planned to have our date once I got back from winter break and from that point on we couldn't imagine our futures with anyone else. Every 4 hour drive and 3 day weekend added to a love that was indescribable. It wasn't long before we knew we were going to marry each other one day but I'm sure if you told us in 2020 we would be here now we wouldn't believe you! So thankful for the times we have had and the memories we have made. Heres to many more!
