Our Story

We met the summer of 2016, both interning in Atlanta while studying at Georgia Tech. Chloe walked up to Drew and our friend Mary Ann, and without ever having met or spoken before, pretended that we'd known each other since kindergarten (not true). We laughed and bonded over kindergarten memories.... and kept the prank going for a few minutes before actually introducing ourselves. After a few months of friendship, we both attended the annual New Years Conference hosted by Campus Outreach, a Christian ministry at Georgia Tech. We stayed friends for about 6 more weeks as members of Campus Outreach, and with the help of some friends who knew about our crushes, Drew asked Chloe to coffee…and the rest was history. Our years dating in Atlanta were filled with many sorority date night events, hanging out at 1009 U-House and 'the Hirsch house', and splitting one too many Cookout trays and milkshakes. We attended Trinity Anglican Church together and remained members of Campus Outreach for many years. We spent lots of time with friends and family in Atlanta and Augusta, and supported each of us graduating from Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!) Chloe received a job offer in San Francisco and moved out west in 2019, and in March 2020 (....yep!), Drew secured a job in San Francisco with plans to move. We ultimately made the move together later in 2020, and have been in San Francisco ever since. San Francisco has been an amazing place to live! We love our proximity to so many amazing landscapes and cities to explore up and down the west coast. Since living here, we've traveled to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Mendocino, Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Seattle, Cabo, Hawaii, and more. Our daily life in SF includes a lot of coffee, exploring with friends, and attempting to stay sane working for Silicon Valley startups. One of the biggest life moments we've experienced together is adopting our precious Cavalier King Charles princess, Mia. She has stolen our hearts and turned us into crazy-in-love dog parents. A whopping 11 pounds, Mia now runs our home and commands our schedule...and we wouldn't have it any other way. On December 10th 2023, Drew told Chloe that our friend Caroline had a Christmas gift to give her before we left for Georgia to celebrate the holidays. Dodging all of Chloe's questions and surprise, Drew led Chloe to Crissy Field — one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge and a spot we drive by often. Normally, Crissy Field is flooded with people enjoying the views on a sunny day. Today of all days, the field was completely empty, except a picnic blanket and table set up with white flowers, champagne, and photos from our 6.5 years together. Drew asked Chloe to marry him (YAY!) and she said yes :) Our family and friends treated us to dinner, and that same week in Georgia we had 2 amazing engagement parties hosted by our families. Then, the wedding planning began! In one of the first visits Drew made to visit Chloe while we dated long distance, we spent the afternoon at Viansa Winery in nearby Sonoma. The winery stole our hearts, and after a few more visits, we joined as members and have continued taking family and friends anytime we host visitors. Throughout our time in San Francisco, one of our favorite activities has been to escape the hustle of the city to experience sunny Sonoma County, so we’re thrilled to now be getting married here. Thank you to all of our friends and family who have supported our journey since day one. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all (and THANK YOU for making the trip to be by our side). Here’s to forever!
