What is the address

Answer

We will be getting married at Stretton Manor Barn, Chesterfield, DE55 6EX. We will be getting married at 12pm. Therefore, we ask that you do not arrive any later than 11.30am as you will not be allowed in once the ceremony starts. The reception will follow at the same location. See our accommodations page for nearby hotels or glamping recommendations.

Question

Is there parking?.

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking at the venue. If you are staying at our recommended hotel please bare in mind that they do not do check-in until 3 pm. So you may need to drop your bags off and get transport from the hotel to the venue. We will be offering transport from the Venue to Casa Hotel at the end of the evening.

have you reserved blocks of rooms at the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, they wanted a definite answer when booking the hotel. Those who were quick enough got a better deal at booking.com we are aware that they may not have any more bookings available so you may need to use the actual website.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We have a black tie theme, meaning dress to impress! We want you to feel as comfortable as possible but as glamorous as you can.

Am i allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If they are not named on the invite, unfortunately, they are not invited. We would like to keep our wedding small and intimate for immediate family and friends.

Am i allowed to bring my children?

Answer

If your child is named on the invite they are invited to come along and celebrate with us. we ask that no one under 12 to be attending as we want to keep our wedding kid-free. We understand this may be frustrating and child care costs but we want everyone to have a night off to celebrate and enjoy themselves as parents we know it can be a very rare occasion we get to enjoy child-free nights!

What type of food will be served.

Answer

The venue is offering canapes during the cocktail hour picked by the bride and groom; the wedding breakfast will consist of a banquet-style meal so you can pile your plates as you please, and finally, for the evening, we will be doing evening food in canape style so no queuing or waiting around they come to you.

will there be a meal option for those with dietary needs?

Answer

Yes. we want everyone to be included therefore, those with allergies or dietary needs will be given an alternative option.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We would love to pay for everyone, but unfortunately, weddings are expensive! The bar will be open 30 minutes before the ceremony, and then for the drinks reception. I believe the bar accepts Card only but will confirm closer to the time.

Were should we bring/send our wedding gifts?

Answer

Youll see after the ceremony a card box for all cards. We are excited to start our lives together, and we are thankful that you want to be a part of our day. As we enter our marriage, we have enough belongings for both of us and because of that, we are asking that if only you wish.. to be gifted money towards our honeymoon.

What time should i arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony takes place at 12pm. we ask that guests arrive no later than 30 minutes before to ensure you have a chance to greet the groom, for a quick drink and to find your seats. Anyone arriving any later may be asked to wait outside until the ceremony has finished.

When will the reception end?

Answer

The venue have asked that the bride and groom leave no later than midnight ( exact time to be discussed) we ask that you arrange transport for that time of night to your desired location. The bride and groom will be having a last dance whilst the remaining guests get ready for a sparkler send-off. After this, you will be asked to make your way to your hotel or home.

Question

Am i allowed to take photos?

Answer

Whilst we know it can be an exciting time, we will be having an unplugged ceremony so that the photographers have the floor to take photos at all angles without a phone being in the way. You will be given an opportunity just after the ceremony to take a photo of the bride and groom for your socials and also a selfie opportunity just before the ceremony begins. we do ask that you do not post the bride and groom until they have announced it on social media themselves,
