Albany International Airport

Lake George is located 50 minutes from the Albany Airport. There are taxis, Ubers, and a number of rental car options to get you to Lake George when you arrive. In general for those flying in, it's often best to rent a car as there are limited Ubers/Lyfts once you get to Lake George.

Airbnb or VRBO

There are plenty of AirBnb's and VRBO's in the area that provide a great alternative to a traditional hotel. Note that Lake George is large, at 32 miles long, so be mindful of where you book. We'll be getting married on the southwestern end of the lake. We'd strongly advise against booking anything north of Bolton Landing, or anywhere on the eastern side of the lake as it will require a significant drive to get to the venue. In addition to Airbnb's, there are plenty of smaller hotel's along 9N (road up the western shore) that would be excellent options to stay.
