In 2004 Alicia Sanders introduced us in the cafeteria of 'Lawrence Nelson Secondary School'. At fourteen and fifteen no one thought much about it at the time. Due to outside circumstance of moving to other towns and him later joining the Army Reserves it wasn't until 2008 we were reintroduced. We started dating August 16, 2008.

Cheryl's favorite animal has always been the giraffes and as we watched them in their habitat at Henry Dooley Zoo Manuel kneeled and nervously asked if she wanted to finally tie the knot. Of course she said yes!
