Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1st! Its very important to respond by the RSVP deadline, as we need to get the final guest count to our caterer.

We are registered! Please visit the "Registry" tab for more information.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes beforehand to give yourself time to park and settle in.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. The vibe is elegant garden party, so please feel free to wear color! We know you will all show up looking fabulous! Here is a great guide to men and women's cocktail attire for weddings: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity we can’t host any additional guests that didn’t receive formal invitations.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the children of our friends and family, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children not specifically listed on the invitation.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Vegetarian and vegan options will be available. If you have any additional concerns, feel free to contact us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For out of town guests or those who want to stay at a hotel with other wedding guests, we have reserved room blocks in three key areas: near the venue, near our home, and in downtown Austin. Please visit “Travel” page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation to and from the ceremony. However, Uber and Lyft are very easy to use in Austin! Renting a car is also a great option if you'd like to take time to explore the city (Austin is NOT public transportation friendly).

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

Yes! Woodbine Mansion offers a designated parking lot at the back of the property (off McNeil Rd) with 20 parking spaces. There is also ample street parking located in front of the mansion (on E Main St) and on either side (on Burnet St and Lewis St). Finally, there is a free garage located one block from the venue (the City Hall Parking Garage). Ride share is also very accessible in the area.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Our reception will end at 10pm. We would love if all our guests were able to stay until our grand exit at that time!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be wedding events on Friday evening and Saturday. Please see the "Wedding Weekend" tab for more information.
