Gregory's engagement announcement tells our story so wonderfully: 

"I remember meeting Chelsea when she opened the locker next to mine. She immediately took my breathe away, so I had to ask her out. She was kind enough to let me take her to a nice sushi dinner, then not talk to me again for 18 years! Upon returning to her good graces we found that we had a lot in common and enjoyed each other’s company. I quickly found that those feelings I had standing in front of that locker so many years ago came rushing back, and I had to see more of her. She was once again kind enough to let me in her life, and I knew that this was something special. I then made a decision that I was going to marry this woman, and this past weekend that’s exactly what I asked her to do. I am filled with joy, and feel so blessed that she said yes!"
