Zoe and Ryan officially met on a cool October evening in college, when a newly-single Zoe announced to a large Halloween party that she was going to make a play at the notoriously stoic Ryan Semmelmayer. Zoe asked Ryan if he liked her velveteen dress- he said "Yes," and the two were a pair within days. However, being the frenzied college kids they were- this began a topsy-turvy love story that weaved through years of juicy fights, joyous reunions, and the ultimate return of Ryan to Chicago, where they decided to give it the old after-college try. They've stuck next to each other ever since. It's been eight years of great meals, lots of laughs, and glances across the room at parties that say, "Just WAIT till you hear this shit." Through bad landlords, the world's best friends, and all the places in between- they've been so grateful to have each other as co-pilots through it all.
