Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony. There are also not many Uber's in this area and because the venue is in the mountains the Uber's are more expensive.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking attendant at the wedding venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is Semi-Formal. This means suits, cocktail dresses, or evening gowns. The ceremony will take place on grass, but the reception will be heel-friendly!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is linked on our wedding website. The tab is at the top.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have linked a few of the hotels in the area under the Travel tab on the wedding website. There are some more to choose from other than the ones we provided information for.

Answer

If there will be another event we will send out separate invitations.

We are having a BBQ buffet with pulled chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, green beans, bread rolls, and chips. We will have cupcakes for desert.

Yes. They are both at The Eighty Four. The reception will start directly after the ceremony.

Question

What time is the ceremony? The reception?

Answer

The ceremony is at 5:00. The reception is directly after.

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

May weather in Riner has historically been highs of 75 and lows of 55.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony should end around 5:30. The couple and immediate family will go off and take some photos while the remaining guests find their seats and get drinks and food. We will then have the cake cutting, speeches, and dances. After that, we will party!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We ask that you please not bring any additional guests unless they are specifically named on the invitation and RSVP website. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

No. The hotels will be open during that weekend because there are no college events and it is Memorial Day weekend so most people travel out of town. There are a variety of hotels to choose from. They are listed on the website under the Travel page.

Question

Can I post photos of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please do. We love photos. We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony as we would like that moment to be unplugged. Please send us any pictures that you do taking during the rest of the celebration.
