The City Market is a historic market complex in downtown established in the 1790s. The market stretches for four city blocks where vendors sell souvenirs and other items ranging from jewelry to local Gullah sweetgrass baskets.

An elegant downtown bar with a great outside courtyard in the back. You won't see it on the menu but order the espresso martini, it's hands down the best we've ever had.

This is where we had our first date! Not much indoor seating at all but there is a great rooftop if you're up for being in the sun. (warning: the stairs to the rooftop are very tall and steep!)
