Ceremony at Blue Lounge

The brief ceremony will take place outdoors in view of the Matterhorn. Warm outdoor clothes, snow boots, and ski attire are appropriate and necessary. We will have a building at the Blue Lounge for warming up, and restrooms but the ceremony itself will be outdoors. Winter cocktail attire is appropriate for when we regroup back down the mountain for dinner and dancing at the Grand Zermatterhof.

We will be taking a short train ride up the mountain and one gondola stop to the Blue Lounge for the ceremony. There are exposed gondolas as well as enclosed cable car gondolas available. Once at the Blue Lounge we will have champagne and warm drinks to help keep you comfortable. If you prefer- you can ski directly to the ceremony, and ski or take the train back down the mountain afterward. It will be a unique adventure!
