Please be aware that the Richmond Marathon will be taking place the morning of Saturday, November 12th, which will cause traffic and road closures in certain parts of the city from 7am-Noon.

Watch the Richmond Marathon!

If you are staying in the city, chances are you can walk outside and catch a glimpse of the Richmond Marathon which will be taking place the morning of November 12th (from ~7 am to Noon). Major spectator areas include Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Broad Street, Main Street, Grace Street, and Monument Avenue.

Carytown Shopping District

Take a stroll through the historic Carytown shopping district, where you will find a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and unique boutiques carrying everything from clothing to exotic teas to local houseware items.
