Looking for a great brunch place during your stay? Ria's is one of our absolute favorites! It hits capacity fast, so go early. Parking can get a little dicey, but most of the surrounding street parking is free so best to drop off a representative to get your group on the list and then prepare for a quick walk. The best pancakes in Atlanta, period. And seriously, get the pancakes.
Are you a bagel addict? You are in luck: we have some of the best bagels in the country available right here in Atlanta! We definitely recommend placing an order for pick-up and getting there nice and early, because they sell-out FAST! The Glenwood Avenue location is also located in the heart of East Atlanta Village, which has dozens of awesome restaurants and shops in a two block, walkable area!
One of the hippest neighborhoods in all of Atlanta, Little 5 Points is one of our favorite places to go for food, friends, and catching awesome shows! The address we've added here is the one to our favorite dive-bar and cheap Mexican food place, El Myr - an Atlanta mainstay featuring surprisingly delicious food and cold, cheap drinks. Great shopping, great food, and a slice of everything that makes Atlanta awesome!
One of the crown jewels of the Atlanta Beltline project, the Krog District and its main hub, Krog Street Market, sit directly on the East Side beltline just over the train-tracks from Cabbagetown (or under since you take the famous Krog Street Tunnel to get there...). Amazing food, amazing drinks, yoga studios, co-working spaces, world-class shopping, local businesses, and all the people-watching you can handle await you from the Krog Tunnel all the way North to Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park!
We're huge fans of the aquarium, both as a non-profit dedicated to protecting our marine friends, but also as a fun place to marvel at incredible creatures and people watch!
One of our favorite places for a date-night or fancy cocktail event, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are absolutely gorgeous at anytime of year! Plus there's a whole building full of orchids!
We love our Zoo, which is a national leader in conservation efforts and a steadfast champion for the welfare and safety of their animals. Though the famous Pandas are heading back to China soon, there are still all kinds of amazing critters at home here, and the enthusiastic employees can turn a casual glance into an awesome learning experience for the whole family! And when you're done in the Zoo, you can go for a walk in the beautiful Grant Park, which the Zoo is nestled inside!
One of the best museums in the world, The High is one of the most impactful Atlanta landmarks open to the public. The permanent collection consists of a world-class exhibition of human treasures, and there are routinely travelling featured exhibitions with massive regional draw. A great place to spend an evening on the town.
Decatur where it's greater! Visit the town where Dan went to grade school and enjoy small-town vibes with big-city entertainment! Some of the best restaurants in the metro-Atlanta area call downtown Decatur home, and there's excellent shopping on every street. A charming place to spend an evening or day!
