We're getting married!

Who ever would have thought a simple "You are such an amazing person" one of the first words said to Chaquoia, would go this far. Chaquoia joined the Higgins Community Academy in August 2022. As the first year went by when he saw Chaquoia in the hall, John would speak, give compliments sporadically, and make small talk here and there, but was too afraid to dive right in. Chaquoia thought he was "eye candy" as he loved to wear tshirts that showed off his muscles lol. He was always so nice and helpful to everyone. Not one person had anything negative to say about him. It wasnt until her 2nd year there that the staff had a bowling outing in which the two got a chance to talk more. Not only was there some chemistry between the two, but other staff saw it as well. He was initially timid as he thought a woman of her caliber certainly had to have a man. With the encouragement from others, John finally decided to say something. He soon had a sigh of relief that Chaquoia was in fact "single and not stuck up like the typical pretty girl" lol The two went on their first date April 4, 2023 and continued to date until it became official July 16th. In those short couple of months they knew they didnt want anyone else. The couple knew within the first year they both were marriage material and that is so hard to find in the world these days. Both John and Chaquoia come to this union with beautiful children who have been accepted and are loved by the other as their own. The two decided to buy a home together in August of 2024. Being totally thrown off with the stress of the home purchase, Chaquoia was completely shocked when John got down on one knee at the closing table. He made August 19, 2024 a day she will never forget. Loving, genuine, loyalty, trustworthy, patient, kind, mutual, respectful, intense, growth, fun, partnership, healthy, and pleasurable are some adjectives that describe this couples relationship. Though they would never say its perfect, they certainly don't have it all... but together they have all they need. It feels like a true fairy tale hint their hash tag #LAWfullyeverafter.
