FAQs

Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

It will now take place on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Question

Will the ceremony be live streamed?

Answer

Yes! We know there are many of you unable to attend due to COVID-19, so we have decided to live-stream the ceremony. You can view the stream here: https://youtu.be/13ZDn6DTkNA It will begin at 5:20 PM on 12/19/2020.

Question

What safety precautions are you implementing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 at your event?

Answer

-The wedding and reception are 100% outdoors -Masks or facial coverings are STRONGLY encouraged unless you are eating or drinking. We will provide masks at the entrance in case you forget or misplace yours! -All food stations will have plexiglass between the serving stations and all guests -We will have someone taking temperatures with contactless thermometers of every guest, vendor team member, wedding party, and bride and groom. -There will be hand sanitizer party favors for every guest as well as hand sanitizer stationed around the venue -We’ve added extra tables in an effort to have fewer guests per table and have spaced them out further throughout the venue grounds -We would also ask that each of you do your part in keeping everyone safe by avoiding high-risk spaces and other gatherings prior to our event. If you think you've been exposed to COVID-19, please get tested before attending our wedding, and if you feel sick do not attend and risk infecting others

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately our venue has limited space. If your invitation does not include your significant other's name OR read "and Guest", please do not plan to bring a date.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love you and your kiddos; however, we have decided to make the reception an adults-only (12 year +) celebration.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We respectfully request that you refrain from photos or videos during the processional, ceremony, and the recessional. The photographers and videographer we've hired have ways of capturing these precious moments without distracting Katie, Ian, or any guests. Feel free to break out the phones and cameras at the reception - we'd love to have you help document the party!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both take place outdoors. We are praying for good weather, but please be sure to keep an eye on the temp and dress appropriately. Don't worry -- we will have lots of heaters and extra blankets in case the Texas weather decides to be uncharacteristically nippy!

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to the reception for a delicious dinner and plenty of libations (in addition to music and dancing)!
