While we knew each other as fellow residents of Mulledy (residence hall) from the year before, we really got to know one another on our Spring Break Immersion trip to Roanoke, VA with a group of Holy Cross students in spring 2013.

Annie was updating her LinkedIn profile after a job change, and Chelsea popped up. After years apart, she took her chances and sent Chelsea an e-mail... the rest was history!

Ten years later from when we first met…..! St. Patrick’s Day at Cat Rock in Weston, MA. This is one of our favorite places to hike together with Bear. Chelsea took Annie up a new route which was very suspicious. Once we got to the top, Chelsea popped the question! Annie was out of breath for two reasons!
