Long-Distance Traveling
Hello! For all guests who will be traveling long-distance that require flying in, it may be a large expense. To alleviate financial burden as much as possible, we ask that you communicate your ideas/plans with us. This way, we can provide ideas such as shared transportation and shared hotel rooms to all long-distance guests.

Flights
There is only one flight currently available to Owensboro, KY, and it is through Chicago. Likely, the best option for travel will be to Owensboro since the next two closest airports are in Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY, both about two hours away. If you are planning on coming to our wedding and would prefer to fly, please contact us and we would be happy to help you find the best flight options. Flights can range anywhere from $80-$500 round trip depending on where you are traveling from.

Hotels
We have 10 rooms blocked off at Courtyard Marriott at a discounted rate of $119 a night for your convenience. These bedrooms all have king-sized beds and a pull-out sofa, so there is the potential to sleep four people if that is something you are interested in! If you need a hotel room for the night before and/or the night after the wedding and are interested in rooming with other wedding guests, please let us know and we are happy to help arrange this! Vehicle Transportation
Owensboro, and the state of Kentucky in general, does not have readily available public transportation. Please keep this in mind, especially if you are coming to the wedding without a car. However, we would like to assist in this area if possible. Please reach out to us about any travel accommodations, and we will do our best to help! If you would prefer to look into other travel options, for people flying in, there is a bus from Louisville to Owensboro everyday leaving at 10:30 AM for $40 through ridewithmiller.com. However, it may be cheaper and more convenient to share an Uber with several guests for $30-40 per person. Likewise, an Uber is the most likely option if you are traveling in from Nashville, so it will probably be a shared ride with other guests.
