We met on an unsuspecting night out on December 11th 2021. Zach was supporting a friend who was playing in a band at a local bar. One of our mutual friends invited Chandra out to the show. She was on the fence about going but is so grateful she did! We hit it off pretty instantly and have been inseparable since. Traveling the world, moving to Hawaii and starting a new life together! We are so thankful that a grungy rock show led us to finding each other 🤍

Zach had been anxiously anticipating this day. When all the plans fell into place, he was officially ready to ask Chandra to be his wife and life partner. We started off the day getting breakfast at our new favorite spot. Afterwards we drove up to Turtle Bay to have a walk on the beach and try our luck at spotting some sea turtles, one of our favorite things to do in Hawaii. Finally, Zach surprised Chandra with a doors off helicopter ride, touring the entire island. Upon landing in a mountain top clearing with a view of the ocean below, Zach dropped to one knee and popped the question. Chandra enthusiastically said OF COURSE. We literally (and figuratively) felt on top of the world! And Zach coordinated a photographer there to capture the special moment. We ended our perfect day with a bouquet of roses and a romantic dinner by the ocean. We love each other so much and are looking forward to creating a life together!
