Our story began long before the first date. We often joke that the Sutphin family and the Bryant family go way, way back. If you’re Salem born and Salem bred, you get it. Since meeting at our home church (the location of our ceremony!) in 2016, we have built a strong friendship, which remains at the heart of our love story. We truly consider ourselves to be best friends. From late night hang outs with our high school friend group to getting jobs in the corporate world and navigating the ups and downs of adulthood, we have certainly grown up together. It is a unique gift that we both treasure. Over the years, we’ve endured many life changes and challenges together. But that true friendship has remained at the heart of it all, allowing us to fall more deeply in love than ever before. Each twist and turn helped shape our story into what it is today. We truly could not imagine our lives without one another. We are so excited to finally begin building a life together. One broken ankle, two college transfers, three career changes, and a million memories later, we are engaged! Chandler proposed to Abbey (who was wearing sweats and fuzzy socks) on December 1, 2022. It truly was a magical night; ask us about the shooting star we saw just after getting engaged! We are so thankful that God has allowed our stories to become one. His providence in our lives is so evident and more than anything, we hope that our relationship, wedding, and future marriage will be a testament to the goodness of God in all circumstances. All that we are, we owe to Jesus, our families, and those in our lives who have supported us from the very beginning. We are truly honored to have you all take part in celebrating our wedding and marriage. Thank you just isn't enough. We are so excited to see you all on December 7th, 2024!
