We met through a family friend. Funny thing is Amish and Chand both went to the same medical school but Amish graduated few years before Chand. They used to live in the same area for years but never crossed path...until they were introduced by family friends. After the exchange of contact information, Amish decided to call Chand. Two weeks of phone calls and innumerable text messages later, they finally met. Amish had already planned the second date before the first date ended. A couple months later, Amish asked Chand to be his girlfriend and the rest is history.

I had planned a sunrise breakfast in Cappadoccia, Turkey to watch the balloons. I told Amish to look cute because I wanted to take a few pictures. Little did I know, Amish had planned much more. Once we got to the hotel lobby, the staff took us to the rooftop of the hotel, which was set up with beautiful rose petals and a spectacular view of the 1000s of hot air balloons that were rising in the sky as the sun rose too. A hotel "photographer" found us and came over to ask if we wanted to take a few pictures. I immediately asked what the price would be, but Amish said "sure why not." The photographer asked me to pose by looking at the sunrise and when I turned around, Amish was on his knees. It was such a surreal moment where neither of us remember what he said, but I said YES...and we're getting married! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
