Mary Catherine has had the distinct honor of being Erin's best friend since 9th grade. As the story goes (well, to Erin's recollection, but it should be noted Mary's memory is always the one to rely on), during Mrs. Latham's English class at Midland Freshman, MC asked Erin if she wanted to come over to swim. Never one to turn down a pool invite, Erin enthusiastically said she'd love to, and they've been PICs ever since. Mary and Erin have been there for each other during countless life events—everything from moving to LA to multiple milestone birthday soirees to mourning the loss of loved ones. Mary Catherine is one of the kindest people Erin has ever met and is so, so lucky to have her as a best friend. Mary has been with Erin through it all, and Erin cannot imagine a day this special without Mary at her side!
Kelly Peters
Matron of Honor
It had to be divine intervention that Kelly and Erin not only both decided to go to SMU Law at the same time, but they were in the same orientation group. During orientation, Kelly asked Erin to sign her into a mandatory event that Kelly was skipping because she had concert tickets. Not only did Erin find this ~very cool~, but also Erin was flattered that in such a short amount of time, she had come off as sketchy enough to be asked to do such a thing. There's no one that will go harder for you, but also call you on your BS, than Kelly. No one's antics make Erin laugh like Kelly's, and she's so thankful for such a loyal and fun best friend. Erin is so glad Kelly will be standing by her side on her wedding day, not only because she's such a constant in her life, but also because Kelly will yell at any wedding guests or vendors that cause a problem on the big day.
