We first met during orientation as we were both transferring to the ICU as nurses from different units. We immediately became very close friends and felt super comfortable with each other. After a few months, we genuinely fell for each other without realizing that we would never be apart again. Our relationship progressed rapidly when we moved together into a hotel in the city due to crazy covid and we were separated from our families. From then on our love continued to grow stronger through all the good times and the tough ones too. Now our families are ONE and we're excited to make this official!

We took our first trip together to Arizona where we hiked through Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Three years later we went to Utah and took another hike in the snowy weather through Bryce Canyon. This is where Celsus asked a random person to take a picture of us... I looked over...he was down on one knee....and we are now engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.

Q. Who made the first move? How? Celsus made the first move by grabbing my phone and sending himself a picture of the "orientation week schedule." CLASSIC! Q. What's your favorite activity together? We love to take hiking trips together. Q. What's the best meal you have eaten together? While in Las Vegas we tried the "Dine in the Dark" experience which included a 7 course vegan meal. The ultimate taste experience since the other senses are heightened due to being blindfolded and sitting in the dark. Q. What's the most memorable trip you have taken together? Amsterdam was by far our best trip! You get the best of both worlds. We got to experience a city with a rich history and breathtaking sites. It was also nice just traveling everywhere riding a bicycle. Q. We’re on the same page about What's important to us. And that's spending time with the people we love most. (You all!) Q. A life goal of ours is to Be happy! Q. The most spontaneous thing we’ve done is honestly every trip we take. We book and plan trips super spontaneously. Q. The dorkiest thing about us is WE SHARE AN INSTAGRAM. haha!

We wanted to pick a date to get married that we would treasure and celebrate forever. September is a special month for us as we continue to celebrate the birth of Mom Nathalie. Therefore, in her memory we wanted to honor her as she will be watching over us. Coincidentally, Celsus and I were both born on the 22nd and therefore wanted to keep the traditional numbers coming!
