Things To Do

The Wedding Website of lindsay cella and vincent kover
We love exploring Brooklyn and hope you will too! Here's a few of our favorite spots!

Locanda Vini & Olii

129 Gates Avenue, Clinton Hill, NY 11238

Our favorite restaurant in all of NYC, you can't beat this authentic Italian spot inside of an old apothecary. About a 25 minute walk from the hotels or 10 minute cab ride. Make reservation online, try eating outside if weather permits!

Widow Jane Distillery

218 Conover Street, Red Hook, NY 11231

Check out a tour of this bourbon distillery in Red Hook or take in a cocktail in their gorgeous bar! 2 minute walk to the wedding venue!

Red Hook Tavern

329 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, NY 11231

One of the best burgers in NYC, and the rest of the food is pretty amazing too. Reservations are HARD to get, so check in advance!

Prospect Park

Brooklyn, NY

This huge, beautiful park is the "backyard of Brooklyn." Contained within its 526 acres are a zoo, the first urban-area Audubon Center in the nation, an ice rink, a band shell, a carousel, and dozens of athletic and recreational facilities.

D.O.C. Wine Bar

83 North 7th Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

This Sardinian wine bar in Williamsburg is packed with charm and incredible food.

MADRE

214 Franklin Street, Greenpoint, NY 11222

Order the souffle ahead :)

Time Out Market New York

55 Water Street, Dumbo, NY 11201

Want to try the best of NYC food under one roof? This market on Dumbo's gorgeous waterfront has some of the best NYC eats like Da Adriano, Clinton St Baking Co, Pastrami Queen, Ess-A-Bagel, and more. Have a drink on the rooftop and enjoy sweeping views of lower manhattan!

Jane's Carousel

Dock Street, Dumbo, NY 11201

A Brooklyn institution! Kids (and adults too!) will love a ride on this beautiful, historic merry-go-round right on the waterfront in Dumbo overlooking downtown Manhattan.

Kings County Distillery

299 Sands Street, Brooklyn Navy Yard, NY 11205

Kings County Distillery is New York City's oldest, largest, and premier whiskey distillery, the first since prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County makes handmade bourbon, rye, and other whiskeys out of the 123-year-old Paymaster Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Take a tour and learn how it's made, or just enjoy a delicious cocktail at their fun outdoor bar!
