Their meet cute begins as so many do; at improv during a design thinking workshop in Silicon Valley. A deep friendship formed and a mere seven months later, Chris convinced Kaitlyn to join him for a horse-riding date in Livermore. 🐎 His family showed up, she fell off a horse, and she was smitten. After months of dating and country dancing, the two took a cross-country leap of faith to Durham, NC for Kaitlyn's MBA degree from Duke and, unbeknownst to them at the time, her Mrs. degree from Chris. 💍

Chris took Kaitlyn for a trip to Charleston, SC, and under Spanish moss at Middleton Place, paused to get down on one knee as Kaitlyn romantically shouted "OMG ARE YOU GOING TO PROPOSE?!" He answered yes, and she did too. 💕 Chris had coordinated to have their families and best friends travel from Sacramento, SF, France, Durham, and LA to surprise her, and as the newly engaged couple entered the Victor Social Club, happy tears, cheers, and celebrations ensued that lasted the whole weekend. 🥂
