Catherine and Tyler were working together at a British Pub in Cleveland Hopkins Airport. After a few months of squabbling over the nightly restaurant closing duties, Tyler finally worked up the courage to ask out "the prettiest girl on the team". They met for dinner at local hotspot, Melt Bar and Grilled, and continued after to 16-Bit Arcade Bar. Catherine ended up absolutely destroying Tyler at NBA Jam that night but we'll never actually know if he let her win on purpose... The rest is happy history.

Catherine and Tyler visited Niagara Falls for a sightseeing trip in late July. This is already a sentimental location for a few of Catherine's family who share this spot for their honeymoon, so they joined in for a reminiscent vacation. The trip was a lot of fun catching up with family and seeing the sights, and on the last night after a nice dinner, the group ventured to the falls one last time for photos at twilight. Catherine was expecting only a few photos and quickly turned to make her exit before Tyler pulled her back near the edge of the treacherous falls... On bended knee, Tyler held the ring as cameras flashed. With a cheeky grin, he asked, "How's THIS for a picture?"
