Our Wedding | Notre Mariage

We met in late September 2017 when Kate had arranged a girls’ night in Arlington. Kate and her girl friends were watching a movie in a park with drinks and picnic dinner. Unbeknownst to Kate, her friend, Molly, brought a girls' night party crasher, Philippe-Armand (PA) with her. We ended up hitting it off and talked all through the movie. We went out the following night downtown with a big group of friends and spent the whole night talking and dancing together. At the end of the night we exchanged phone numbers and hopped in our respective taxis to go home. The following day PA flew to Paris. We talked the whole week he was gone and went on our first date the night he returned. We’ve been together ever since! *** Nous nous sommes rencontrés à la fin du mois de septembre 2017 lorsque Kate avait organisé une soirée entre filles à Arlington. Kate et ses amies regardaient un film dans un parc autour d'un pique-nique. À l'insu de Kate, son amie Molly a emmené avec elle Philippe-Armand (PA). Nous avons fini par parler tout au long du film. Nous sommes sortis la nuit suivante en ville avec un grand groupe d'amis et avons passé toute la nuit à parler et à danser ensemble. À la fin de la soirée, nous avons échangé nos numéros de téléphone . Le lendemain, PA s'est envolé pour Paris. Nous avons parlé toute la semaine où il était parti et sommes allés à notre premier rendez-vous le soir de son retour. Nous ne nous sommes plus quittés depuis!

The Chateau is named Bonneval after the family that has called it home for 1000 years. Bonneval is a home where history comes to life, with a medieval exterior on the east side and a Renaissance façade on the north side. The Chateau has lived through many significant moments of French history and has even hosted King Henri IV for a night during his battles against the protestants. Kate and Philippe-Armand (PA) are getting married at Bonneval due to its importance in PA's life. It has been host to many of his childhood memories, and has been at the center of many celebrations and achievements. For Kate having their wedding at such a significant place for this family with all of her family and friends is symbolic as the two families come together through marriage. Bonneval has been the site for family weddings throughout history to include PA's parents, Geraud and Marta, and his grandparents, Bernard and Marie-Antoinette. *** Le château porte son nom en l'honneur de la famille qui y habite depuis 1000 ans. Bonneval est une maison où l'histoire prend vie, avec un extérieur médiéval du côté Est et une façade de la Renaissance du côté Nord. Le château a vécu de nombreux moments importants de l'histoire française et a même accueilli le roi Henri IV pendant une nuit lors de ses batailles contre les protestants. Kate et Philippe-Armand (PA) se marient à Bonneval en raison de son importance dans la vie de PA. Il a été l'hôte de nombreux souvenirs de son enfance et a été au centre de nombreuses célébrations. Le mariage de Kate et PA en ce lieu a une symbolique importante . Tout au long de l'histoire, Bonneval a été le lieu privilégié des mariages familiaux, dont celui des parents de P.A, Geraud et Marta, et ses grands-parents, Bernard et Marie-Antoinette.
