Justin and I knew each other from high school, so in January 2020, when I was out with my friend, Ashley, I asked her whatever happened to Justin Goetz. She gave me his number and I immediately called and left a message. “Hi Justin. It’s Cathy Woodiwiss. You should make me your flight companion and we should go to Mexico since you work at Delta.” He texted me back the next day and wrote, “Hey Cathy. Let’s do dinner first at Mi Mexico. See you there at 7.” Dinner was followed by dancing and then one year later (due to Covid in 2020), we made it to Mexico.

Since Justin and I were established prior to meeting each other, when we decided to build a house together in 2021, we had to combine forces and decide on flatware, plates, a food processor, etc.... Due to the building of our home and the arrival of our son, Campbell, we have decided that we would like to focus on spending quality time together and creating memories through experiences rather than ask for items from Target or Macy's.
