hello to our loved ones coming from far away! foxfire is the same distance from 
all NYC-area airports (JFK, LGA, EWR).

Plane

if you don't drive or don't want to, you can take either the amtrak or the metronorth. 
the closest amtrak station is RHINECLIFF, which is about 40 minutes away from the area. 
the closest metronorth stop is POUGHKEEPSIE, about an hour away from the area.

Train

there is frequent bus service via TRAILWAYS between NYC and WOODSTOCK, 
which is roughly 20 minutes outside of mt. tremper.
